We’ve gotten a lot of snow recently and I’ve enjoyed the opportunities each new blanket provides to make pictures of small things.
Here are some pictures from recent explorations at Riley Trails.

This time, the sky co-operated on a very cold evening. 12 degrees and there was a guy paddle boarding on Lake Michigan which was cool to see. Too many good sunset pictures to pick just a few!
Earlier this week I spent a bit of time wandering at Van Raalte Farm after nearly two feet of snowfall over the past week or so. I also went to Holland State Park hopeful for a glimpse of sunset (there was none), but it was snowing sideways so I settled for some icy-railing-lighthouse pictures across the channel.
Between the pandemic and unpacking (and well, general lethargy), I haven’t been out with or without cameras since we moved to the north side of town back in November. I used some new gear as an excuse to finally get to Riley Trails yesterday, which is located just a couple miles away. The light was great on this morning!
