Arches National Park at Night
Ho boy was this a blast.
Two Days in New Hamster
En route to Maine (more on that later), we made our first visit to New Hampshire, which Leah adorably calls “New Hamster.”
Great Sand Dunes National Park
My friend Tom and I spent a few days exploring Great Sand Dunes National Park and the surrounding area back in April. It’s a spectacular valley and we had a great time getting some really good pictures. The trip ended with vomiting at a Walgreen’s.
Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument at Night
In case you hadn’t heard, I have a new job with Glazier Clinics. I’ll be working remote from Michigan most of the time, but they’re based in Colorado Springs, and I am spending two weeks there in August.
One Night on Blue Ridge Parkway
I needed some outdoor time, and lucked into a last-minute room at the Pisgah Inn, on what was supposed to be a clear night, perfect for night sky photography.
Fall in the Smokies 2017: Part 6
Thursday was a whirlwind day with lots of activity at the summit. As I was left my room to join an early morning field session, I looked up and saw stars, so I instead jumped in my car and headed up to foothills parkway to shoot some star-to-sunrise timelapse.
A Couple Recent Visits to GSMNP
After our quick trip to Charleston, we spent a few days here in Greenville, before heading up to Gatlinburg and Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
