I took all the JPEGs still on my camera from the last 3.5 months and made them into a timelapse movie.
Ann, Will, & Maggie arrived on Tuesday so the whole clan was together in town.
En route to Maine (more on that later), we made our first visit to New Hampshire, which Leah adorably calls “New Hamster.”
Leah played in Park Township’s soccer league in April/May. It was a fun season, but as usual for Michigan, featured a few games/practices that were freezing cold, and a few that were blazing hot.
We spent the first half of the week in Colorado Springs.
Midweek, we headed up to Loveland to stay with Auntie Car and Unkie Doo. We hadn’t been there since Aly was just a toddler, but we had a blast as we always did on previous visits.
After a great week in Colorado, I dropped the girls off at DEN and then picked up my friend Tom for our adventure at Great Sand Dunes National Park, which is coming up in the next post.
Here are some of my favorite pictures from March.
Black River Carnival
Always a hit with our kids (now just kid), Leah brought a friend to the elementary carnival at Black River. Leah even won one of the big door prizes in the raffle.
Here are some of my favorite pictures from February:
Odyssey of the Mind
For the past few months, Leah has been on an Odyssey of the Mind team with some other kids from Black River. Their OotM team finished their season with a competition at Wayland High School in February, and they did a great job.
Aly Choir Concert
February featured another fun performance from the Black River choirs.
Here are some of my favorite pictures I took in January:
Leah’s 8th Birthday
Leah celebrated her 8th birthday with a party at BAM, with bowling, pizza, cupcakes, ice cream, presents, laser tag, and arcade time.
On her actual birthday, she celebrated at home with balloons and presents.
Here are some of my favorite pictures from December:
In search of dark skies, a couple of friends and I headed east from Colorado Springs in early December to a tiny little park called Paint Mines Interpretive Park, where we shot pictures of the distant windmills and the night sky. It was very cold, but lots of fun.
