72 hours after arriving home from our ten days in New Hampshire and Maine, we piled back into the minivan and drove up to Pickerel Lake, which is a bit east of Petoskey.
Aly’s friend Megan joined us for the trip, and we had a great time in the lake, kayaking, and exploring the area.

We stopped in Harbor Springs for lunch and post-lunch 
We stopped by the local Humane Society to pet their cats 
On our last night, we all jumped in the lake at around 10 on a very cool evening 
We couldn’t deflate the floats very quickly, so Leah rode for a few hours squished by them 
We stopped by old favorite Jon’s Drive-In in Mt Pleasant for the girls’ first visit 
On the ride home, we also decided to stop by the Humane Society in Holland to pet their cats.
